The juices have been flowing for a few days. A novel is sputtering forward, a chapbook has been put in a bottle and set adrift, a full-length tome of poetry is coagulating, and even a kid's picture book has been quietly making the rounds among editors and agents.
So, I needed to cleanse my palate with some free verse. Enjoy.
